Thermostat spacer to fit the stock thermostat housing on the 7M-GTE.
This moves the stock thermostat forward 20mm, away from the front of the block to allow removal of the stock front timing cover without draining the cooling system.
We've added two additional 1/8-NPT holes for aftermarket gauge and ECM real time sensors. You can add coolant temperature and/or coolant pressure sensors without losing the stock sensors or having to drill and tap new holes in your water neck.
Included are two bungs to block off the holes if you don't need them, and new 35mm long M6 hex screws to bolt your stock thermostat cover over top of our Thermostat Spacer.
Made from CNC machined 6061 aluminum, anodized black.

The order of installation is 7M Water Neck -> Thermostat Spacer -> Stock Thermostat -> Stock Thermostat Cover. This way, any sensors you want to install in our Thermostat Spacer will be on the engine side of the coolant system. Use a small amount of coolant-safe RTV to seal the spacer to the stock water neck. The stock thermostat seal is compatible with this part.
